Known as one of the most athletic female skaters, Surya Bonaly was a World Champion in Gymnastics before she began skating. Since then she has won 9 French National Championship titles, 5 European Championships titles and is a 3-time World Silver Medalist. Surya is the only female skater to do her trademark back flip landing on one foot on the ice. She has been dazzling the Champions on Ice audiences for over 10 years. Surya now lives in Las Vegas, Nevada.
